Out of the many things that I love about LA, this cafe always, always, comes into mind when I think of LA.
The mid-sized cafe is popular among the local and tourists. They arrange the tables with just the right tightness that you can feel the intimacy and energy of the space but you still have enough room to move around. You walk in, you wait in the line, you look at the menu and the fresh pastries in the counter, and there will be people maneuvering around you, self-helping themselves with some water, getting napkins, etc.
I just had to go back again and again, so I can tell you that I highly recommend their lattes, croissants and various brunch items. They do latte arts. I just can’t forget their chocolate-glazed pistachio croissant. Sipping an American-size latte and eating the last crumb of the freshly baked croissant nicely in a typical Californian morning is one of those simple but delightful moments in life.
